Kate McKinnon attended the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards tonight in Los Angeles, California. She was wearing a custom Narciso Rodriguez silk dress. Unfortunately, Kate didn’t win her category and the award went to Alex Borstein. Saturday Night Live ended up getting the award for Best Variety Sketch Series. The Emmy nominations were announced this morning (July 16) and we have some awesome news! Kate McKinnon has been nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Saturday Night Live. She shares the category with Sarah Goldberg, Sian Clifford, Olivia Colman, Betty Gilpin, Marin Hinkle, Alex Borstein, and Anna Chlumsky. SNL has also been nominated for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. Congratulations on the nomination, Kate!
The Hollywood Reporter announced the nominations for the 2019 Dorian Awards and Kate is nominated for Wilde Wit of the Year. The ceremony is set to take place at the Paley restaurant in Hollywood’s Columbia Square on Saturday, Jan. 12.
